Plain English, because that's how everything else on this site is written too. Here's exactly what's collected, why, and what isn't.

The short version

LaunchCo is a one-person website and web app studio run by Jonny Arnold. This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers of any kind. The only personal information collected is what you choose to send through the project brief form, and it's used solely to reply to you.

What I collect

The only place this site collects personal information is the project brief form. If you submit it, I receive:

Your name and email address (required, so I can reply)
Phone number, business name, budget, timeline and project details (optional — whatever you choose to fill in)

Submitting the form sends this information straight to my inbox by email, via the transactional email provider SMTP2GO. Nothing is stored in a database or added to a mailing list.

This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking technology — nothing is collected just by browsing it. That's also why there's no cookie banner: UK and EU cookie law only requires one for non-essential cookies, and this site sets none.

Why I collect it

Purely to understand your project and reply with a quote or answer. This is handled under the "legitimate interests" lawful basis in UK GDPR — responding to a direct enquiry you've chosen to send me.

Who it's shared with

Nobody, beyond what's needed to deliver the email:

SMTP2GO — sends the email from the form to my inbox. See their privacy policy.
Vercel — hosts this site and its server logs (standard technical logs like IP address and request time, kept briefly for security and reliability, not used for tracking or profiling). See their privacy policy.

Your information is never sold, rented, or used for marketing you haven't asked for.

How long it's kept

Brief submissions live in my email inbox for as long as is useful to our conversation or, if we work together, for the duration of the project and a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and support purposes. You can ask me to delete it at any time — see below.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:

Show you what information I hold about you
Correct anything that's inaccurate
Delete your information
Explain how it's being used

Email hello@launchco.co.uk and I'll sort it directly — no call centre, no ticket number. If you're ever unhappy with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Children

This site and its services are aimed at business owners and are not intended for children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example if a new tool or tracker is ever added to the site — this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. As of the date above, that hasn't happened.
